Does anyone have experience with the Berger 115 gr vld, as well as 110 gr accubond ? I shoot 110 accubond and have great success, but just wanted to see if anyone has shot both and which performs better ?

I have shot and played with both. When you say "performs better", what do you want to know? Terminal ballistics, exterior ballistics, more accurate?

What, if any, is the difference the bullets do to game? Mostly whitetails

I shoot the 110 grain accubond. Only killed one deer with it but performance was great
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

The VLD's will open up dramatically and fragment providing about 18"-22" of penetration. They are flat out devastating on game. The wound channels are very large inside. The 115 VLD provides the highest BC available in the 25 caliber, so it is a great longer range bullet.
The Accubond is a bonded bullet and will expand, hold together and provide deep penetration. It will generally provide an exit wound.
A well placed shot with either bullet will do very well.

The 110 ab and the 115 vld's are two totally different designs.
AB is bonded and will retain 80% plus of weight (most likey to get a passtru of the two... By a huge margin) VLD is not bonded and designed to explode after entry.
You don't want to run the VLD over 3400 ft a second.... Bad things happen
Speed won't hurt the AB.
If my 257 loved AB like it does VLD's I'd probably use it over the VLD's but it's hard to walk a way from 5 shot .25 groups

So basically just personal preference then. Any differences in accuracy ? Farthest I shoot is about 220 and that's rare. My gun likes accubonds, but that's also the only bullet ever shot out of it. Hits where the crosshairs are, it's well within the 1" at 100 guarantee weatherby gives.

Stick with the AB then especially since it's an OTC round produced by two companies.

For a hunting bullet at those distances I would be inclined to continue using the accubond.
It's hell eatin em live

Has any one tried the cutting edge in either the 90 grain Raptor or MTH for hunting? The Raptor has a BC of 360 and the MTH a BC of 420.
