If someone is from the Lindale area, I'm pretty sure Lone Star Land Enhancement needs a full-timer. Preferably someone who knows how to run a bobcat or someone who has ran a mulcher before.

If you're in the Longview area. You can stop in at Flander's Electric, LTD and grab an application. We are growing and have several expansions scheduled to increase our workforce. We rebuild motors for Power Companies and the Mining Industry.

Positions that are normally availible.

Machine Shop
DC Motor Mechanic
AC Motor Mechanic
Winding Dept
Stripping Dept
As well as other positions.

We have free medical insurance as long as you participate in the wellness program(it costs 30 something dollars a week if you choose not to). 401k and profit sharing, quarterly safety and quality incentive bonuses, plus a Christmas bonus that is dependant on the number of overtime hours you work in year. Company has been in Longview 13 years and has never had a layoff. We have only been cut down to a 40 hour work week once. We have several branches through out the US, including FL, IN, IL, WY, AZ, and others. We also have employees in Canada, Chile, and Australia

I've been here for 7.5 years and have been happy so far.

This guy has started having employers calling in to his talk show in the Houston area with job offers. I think it is going to be an ongoing thing now. You might drop him an email to find out just when he will schedule it for the show.

If anyone in the Grapevine Lewisville area needs some trees cut down and hauled off from the storms last night I will be in the area with my equipment Thursday 12th - Wednesday 18th. Lots of tree trimming companies are charging as much as $ 2,200.00 for the removal of an entire tree. I am able to do the job for much less. PM me if anyone has anything they need hauled off. Thanks in advance.

My wife has been doing a work at home business and loves it!

This company is legit.
The company is in the BBB Hall Of Fame
The President/CEO is on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Board of Directors.
This is not MLM.
This is not get rich quick.
No selling, no inventory, no risk!

These are common household products that are healthier, eco friendly and save you money. Even if you decide not to do the business side consider using the products to help you save money.

Please contact my wife for more info at the link below and request more info. I am a fellow outdoorsman trying to help others. PM me if you would rather not send your contact info via my wife's website. No one will contact you other than my wife. She will explain everything and if it is not for you that's it. She won't call and bother you day after day like some companies.

If you are considering this at all, I encourage you to at least get all the info before making a decision.

I've followed THF for a long time and have a passion for hunting. It saddens me to read the posts from those that have lost their jobs and so I want to share what I have found that works.
I have tired of putting all my efforts in working for someone else, and not getting ahead to a comfortable level for my family.
I took a forward step a couple of months ago in a company that has a revolutionary product AND revolutionary compensation plan.
It's worth your time to check it out at my link: www.enlyten.com/nesbitt and/or send me an email at nesbitt@enlytennetwork.com. I'll share everything with no pressures!...and if you are interested, can send you products to try out - they're great!
Best of luck to all of you that are suffering from this economic mess we're in.

I have a small general contracting company. I do mostly remodeling and home additions. I also do a lot of concrete work.

I'm a full time student in the business school at UTD so I pretty much take on one job at a time. (You will get great customer service and attention)

Before starting my own company, I built homes for Lennar, David Weekley, and served as VP for a high-end remodeling outfit in Dallas.

Let me know if I can help you, I'll throw in some fishing or hunting!

For all of you guys that are looking for some long term job security making more money than most please check out these few companies; Kirbycorp.com, blesseymarine.com, martinmarine.com. these companies are hiring, will train (paid training), bonuses, job security, very competitive pay, full benefits, retirement, etc.. i work for Blessey Marine Services and the pay is great. I couldn't ask to work for a better company where you are known as your name and not just another body on the payroll. if you don't need or mind being away from home every night then give em a call. hope this helps. if you have never worked in the merchant mariner industry then you will most likely be starting off at or initially be applying for a Deckhand Position and you will advance quickly depending on the person of course. some people learn quicker than others, but the only draw backs to the job are time away from home and you work out in the weather often. good luck!!!

Hello fellow THF'ers,

Times are tough on us all. Bills are tough and money is tight but as long as you have a good pair of work boots, a pair of good gloves and the "want to", there is still a way to make it work.

I'm doing tree removal/ trimming and brush work in the greater D/FW area. I do have a regular job making steel , but they have cut us back to 36 measley hours per week no OT. If you have some brush work or trees that need to be pulled or cleaned up I would sure appreciate the opportunity to do the work for you. Since it isn't my 9-5 so to speak I can usually do the job much cheaper than the big boys. I have all the equipment and trailers. Let me know if there is something I can help you with. My contact informatin follows. Cell 817-209-7758 (please leave a message) and my email is tarrington01@gmail.com

Regards,

Ty

Looking for work in the Irving/DFW area. I am a college student (journalism major) and I have a knack for customer service. I am an excellent writer, but the writing industry is somewhat in the gutter at this time.

I was recently laid off and have one year of school left. I have looked up and down and have not been able to find anyone in the area that is hiring.

I can also do yard work, odd jobs, construction, or anything else to earn a little extra cash.

If you or anyone you know of is hiring, please pm me.

Best Regards,

Brandon

Well, my job offer is a bit out of the normal in comparison to the rest of these however, to the right person, it's a dream job.

We own a small ranch and large kennel of gundogs. I'm looking for someone to run it for me. Pay is $1500-$2000 a month plus free housing in a log cabin overlooking our lake (not some rustic old cabin, it's completely updated with heated tile floors in the bathroom, stainless appliances and hard wood floors throughout). Company paid hunting trips all over the country (including Hawaii). Skills needed are a basic knowledge of farm life, hunting and dog training would be great however I can teach the right person. Here is a link to a tour of our ranch and the website is in the signature at the bottom to see what we do and who we are.

We are looking to hire an individual with experience and an understanding of small-engines and outdoor power equipment (air compressors, power washers, generators, etc.). Duties would include helping customers address product issues over the phone, input of service ticket data, dealing with in-house parts inventory, etc. This is a full-time position for a small privately owned business in Grapevine. Possible part-time position available also.

Let me take care of your home repair/remodeling needs. I have over 10 years exp in commercial construction, and have branched out into residential as a side venture over the past year due to rumors of lay-offs.

The rumors were true and my residential side business is my full time job now. Anything I can do to make your home a more enjoyable place to spend your time, just let me know.

Clearwater Optics is seeking a sales professional with a creative background in increasing sales and building relationships.

The job is strictly commission based, but it's EASY and you can work from home, so long as you're computer savvy and have a phone to make free long distance calls.

We're looking to expand our product line from Texas to other states, so you would be calling marinas and bait shops everywhere to sell our polarized eye wear.

Feel free to PM me for commission info and any other questions you may have.

Best Regards,

Brandon Hurtado
Clearwater Optics

Tried this before, and will try once more. Need 4 - 6 individuals to do a color change for one of my clients. Work involves removing old plants and weeds, and installing new plants per my spacing requirements.

Need a lead @ $12.00/hour
workers @ $10.00/hour

If only three people respond, then it will be a two day job. If 5 - 6, then only one day of work. Let me know ASAP. Proably be during the week. Let me know ASAP.

Respond to RYNOLANDSCAPING@AOL.com

JOB OPENINGS! (2)

I work for General Dynamics in San Angelo. We've got at least 2 openings for TS/SCI cleared personnel at Goodfellow AFB. Both positions are for Computer Help Desk personnel at this time. we may have one more opening coming up in the near future for a computer hardware tech.

These jobs are NOT posted on the GD website, or anywhere else right now. They are taking employee referrals only at this time. shoot me a resume, and i'll put you in. At this point, all they care about is a security clearance. experience is helpful, but not necessary.

I don't work for Plano but I got an email about several openings in their Records Division. Info should be available at the City of Plano website. Should be desk work for anyone thats interested. Thats all I know. Good Luck. Again, this is the forwarded information, I am not a contact for this job.

We have several vacancies we are trying to fill at this time – we are going to a 24/7 operation and need to fill some “odd hour” time slots. If you know of any good candidates or please have them visit the City of Plano job postings.

2 full-time and 2 part-time positions are currently open – work schedule times are below:

Friday thru Monday – 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM Full-time position (4 10-hour shifts)

Friday thru Monday – 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM Full-time position (4 10-hour shifts)

Tuesday thru Saturday – 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM part-time position (5 4-hour shifts)

Tuesday thru Saturday – 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM part-time position (5 4-hour shifts)

We recently bought a car for my wife at Carmax at I-30 and Eastchase on the Arlington/Fort Worth line and I noticed they were hiring sales associates. In talking to my salesman, it's a low-pressure gig (NOTHING like the high-pressure tactics associated with car sales normally) and the hours seem to be somewhat flexible.

My brother (age 25 and an avid outdoorsman), has his undergrad in Business Management from Texas A&M and has an MBA from Sam Houston. He has been training to be a manager for a year with a company with the understanding that he could not work on Saturday for religeous reasons. The location he trained was not open on Sat, but of course, they placed him in San Antonio an a location that is open half a day on Sat. and they informed him that he must conform or find a new job. He's a good, honest, and moral individual who is a great businessman. If anyone knows of any opportunities, please let me know or give him a call at (903)641-2693. His name is Kevin. He is now in San Antonio, but will be more than happy to work anywhere.

God Bless,

I have a friend looking for a job at a gun store in the DFW area. He's in his 40's, military background and CHL. He's not too worried about the income (shocker) but wants to be in that environment. Thanks for any leads...

Good luck buddy. Keep your head high and show em how good you are at what you're interviewing for.

Just a piece of advice- My dad, who has been in the hiring business for about 30 years now told me that he would never hire a man who looked like he needed a job because he would do anything to keep it. Sell them on your strengths and abilities, not your need.

Hey guys I have a preventative maintenance company I'm trying to start and it's slow and I've spent the farm, if anyone knows anyone who has just about any type of equipment, construction, oilfield, pumpjacks, light plants, forklifts, manlifts, generators, if it has oil and filters I bet I can work on it.
Please call Wes @ 432-661-3267. I charge mileage so willing to travel. Thanks.

Guys,

The company I work for has given approval to hire an additional field service technician for the metroplex and surounding areas. I have interviewed a couple of guys so far but I am hoping to find the best fit for the job. This position will maintain, diagnose and repair: vault doors, ATM’s , Remote drive-up lanes, Safes, Safe deposit boxes, Alarms and Video surveillance systems, Currency counters, night depositories, etc.

Applicant should have good mechanical skills and electronics experience, customer oriented, self-motivated, organized, clean driving record, pass background check and drug test. Field related experience is a plus but not required.

Email your resume to:

jamesschumacher@bank-tecsouth.com

Below is a brief description for field service technicians from the company’s website.

“Bank-Tec South is looking for experienced field service technicians. Good customer relation skills and electronics experience required. (Troubleshooting systems is preferred.) Will repair automatic teller machines, video time-lapse and digital alarm equipment.
Must be willing to continue upgrading skills and education and develop good teamwork with fellow technicians. On site training is provided with Technical Support available via the telephone and on site assistance. Technicians report directly to Operations Center and are dispatched via electronic mail/pager system and are required to make after hour and weekend calls.”

Thanks,

James

Ya'll might have seen my post on here "Save on your electric bill". I am a sales/marketing consultant for Ambit Energy. We are a Dallas-based residential electric company that services Texas, Illinois and New York.

This is a work-from-home business that offers the opportunity for a monthly residual income, bonuses and FREE electricity for your own personal home. If you know people that:
1. Use electricity
2. would like to pay less for their electricity
3. would like to make money helping people save on their electric bill
Then, you can do well in this business.

I've been with the company for about 6 months and I'm having a blast with it!! PM me for more info. Or, you can get more info on my consultant website at www.brianharris.ambitenergy.biz.

We also have an opportunity presentation at www.brianharris.whyambitworks.com

I need to hire a couple of drivers to run freight out of DFW airport. We're a small, family company that has been in business 10 years looking for a couple of people with at least 2 years driving experience. A CDL is not required, but a plus. We run 24' straight trucks and also 53' tractor trailers locally and over the road. Right now we need to fill a couple of the straight truck positions.

Ideally I'd like to find someone with local p&d experience in the metroplex.

Shoot me a pm if you are interested for a full description.

Ok, guys. Unless Mr. Obama has you well taken care of, here is what I have:

I need a lead for one day job. Have two feelers out there, so if they don't come though, I will take next qualified candidate. $15 per hour

5 guys @ $10 per hour.

One days work, and will consist of 8 - 10 hours. This is the LAST time I post this. I have posted it 4 times prior, and not one swinging door ponied up. It isn't pretty work, nor is it something to put on your resume, however, the money I am offering will put food on YOUR table.

PM me. The job is scheduled for this Wednesday, and consists of demo of old flowers, and installation of new ones.

Passing this on:
I am looking for a part time Materials Clerk. It would be for 4 hours a day and I am flexible on the time, it can be between 10:00 and 5:00. My thinking was there might be a stay at home mom that would like to work some and still be able to take the kids to school and pick them up or a college student. They will be putting up stock, breaking down boxes, delivering product to the units and assisting Andy and Ginger. If you know of anyone please have them apply on line or send their resume to HR.

Thought I'd throw this out here again. In November 2009, Ambit Energy was named the fastest-growing privately held company in north Texas by the Caruth Center for Entrepreneurship at Southern Methodist University (SMU). Our company is growing rapidly!!!

This is not one of those "get-rich-quick" deals. But, with the highly competitve rates and excellent pay structure that our exec's have given us, there is good money to be made with this company. My wife and I were excited because this is something that provides us with an alternative source of income, and can actually grow to be a life-changing residual income that will help secure our retirement.

If anyone is interested, shoot me a PM, email or give me a call and I'd be happy to share my experience in the company with you.

Pretty new to the forum but I know there are a bunch of good guys on here so I thought i"d give it a try...

I Recently lost my full time job and am looking for some cash paying jobs to get by until I find a full time job again.

I am a father, husband, and homeowner who is not afraid to get my hands dirty.

Below are some things I may be able to assist you in:

• Lawn Mowing, weed-eating/edge blow
• Some light landscaping tasks
• Organize Garage or Storage
• Help with moving
• Light painting

If you have anything that would help me, that would be great. I might have interviews pop up and those will obviously take precedence.

I am in Rowlett (Dallas Area) and can travel in around within reason.

Thank you

I need someone to help move furniture, rip up and replace the flooring, and possibly paint the ceiling in my home. We'll start early in the mornings and take off early afternoons. We may not work every day, and the days we do work will be tough, so I will pay well in cash for someone who wants to work hard when we do work. Experience in carpet laying, flooring, and/or painting a plus.

Thanks
Dave

I just received notification that our company has an opening for a hunting guide for our King Ranch corporate lease. It's around 43K or 46K acres of the ranch and the guide would probably be dealing with high end clients. Anyway, if you think you fit the job, follow the link below and search for requisition 166238.

On the first screen, click the red button that says "Potential Employees". When you come to the next screen, scroll down and enter the requisition number where it asks for it. Then click "Start Search". When the posting comes up, click on the blue hyperlink that says "Seasonal Guide".

I don't know any of the details (like pay or required references) so you'll have to follow up on everything yourself. Anyway, if you ever thought you wanted to be a guide, here's your chance.

Well, I definitely learned not to make a post in the off topic section about a job. There is no shortage of unemployed comedians there.

Anyway, I found a couple of more job openings that are actually in my department. Having worked here for 31 years, I can say that these two openings are just about the best job we have for a construction-related person. Both jobs are titled "Real Estate Project Manager". This job ranges from simple remodels in office buildings in Houston all the way up to building new facilities in other Countries and all jobs in between. We're building a lot in China, India, Singapore, etc. If you're up to International projects, your closest boss will be in Houston so you are THE key decision maker. Or, the job may be strictly in the Houston area; I haven't talked to the manager about the openings.

Anyway, if you're looking for a job like that, hit the link below and select either of the "Real Estate Project Manager" links to apply.

Just wanted to give an update on a previous post I made:
Ambit Energy was just named the FASTEST
GROWING PRIVATE COMPANY
in all of America by "Inc." magazine.
You can check out the article from the Dallas Morning News Business section from Tuesday, Aug 24th.

Like I said before, this is not a get-rich quick deal. But, it is an incredible opportunity for anyone that wants to start their own home based business. We have some of the best executives in the country leading our company and providing unending support to its field consultants.

I'd love to speak with anyone interested in our company and share the success that my wife and I have had. Please feel free to call, email or PM me.

How to cultivate your refined side?

Reading is the basical thing to cultivate your refined side.
Reding more books and lean to think more. You could do some exercises such as Yoga.
Remember that confident girl will be beautiful, but don’t lose modest attitude.
Say to yourself everyday” I am the most beautiful girl and have best temperament and the most import is be confident to yourself.
When you were born, your face couldn’t changed so much, so accept your looking. Turst in others and give suitable concern. To cultivate quiet dignity and be full of confidence not lost humour, don’t be afraid to show your real mood.
When you have some difficulties, find a help from your friends, don’t fall into full sorrow.
Don’t haggle over every ounce, don’t be aloof to your friends, and don’t show off your intelligence.
The basically don’t ignore your appearance. I sometimes buy a Swarovski crystal beads, as my gift.
Read bright poems, listen to nice music, buy beautiful Swarovski crystal.

I Believe

Everyday when I open my eyes, the time is changing all the things; the wind blows, staring at the sky, giving a mysterious feel uncertain. But I have no regret,Cuz you are at my side.
Cuz I believe,Cuz I believe, every breath make sense, the passed is too much, but we don’t have the time to sigh, if you are at a loss, you still continue.Cuz I believe,Cuz I believe, everything you said, I turst you. When You purchased swarovski crystal and hold my hand, looking at my eyes, at that moment, I more definitely determine your heart than everyone.
We went to a department store, we found so many beautiful thing, I was attracted by the beautiful jewelry store, I let my hands go off you, choose the swarovski beads in the store. I don’t know the how much the times passed by, suddenly I was called back by the voice from the broadcast in the store, a familiar voice called” Qianzi ,Qianzi Your darling are waiting for you on the service department. I run to you, you angered at me on purpose and said” what make you lost from me?” I said” so sorry, but they are so beautifu.”
He then go to the store, also was attracted by the beautiful swarovski beads, and purchase that for me.
Though I am not very beautiful, but I have confident in myself and still believe in him. No reason Just Cuz I believe him.

How to say you?

You are not very tall ,but taller than me, the first time that we saw each other, we don’t have good feeling to each other, the feeling is just so so, not very wonderful, it’s just ordinary.
We dated with each other at the Pandora charms store, When I pick it, I saw you looked at me, now you said “ at that time, you are so lovely felt that you are taking the cat in your arm.”
We talked with each other about the works and outlook on life and value. We have many common points. We also talks my favorite jewelry about Pandora beads, he told me that they are so popular in the DIY,and tell me how to make a Pandora bracelet by pandora bracelet. I felt he is so passionate.
After that we always have may topics to talk with each other, he think me unique, have a kind-hearted, and have many friends, sometimes he will be jealous with my friends. I like the sentence:” I like you not because who you are, but because of who am I when I am with you.”
Yes, in front him. I felt I am a little woman, and sometimes, he act like a spoiled child. I like this feeling. I believe we will be together hand in hand and grow old with each other.

I have been involved in the construction industry the past 10 years. I have served as a business owner, project and employee manager, and salesman. I have extensive knowledge in the areas of business managment, sales, environmental services and roofing. Really looking for a sales job with a salary plus commission or a management job. If there is anyone who knows of anything I would appreciate the help. I have an up to date resume and references I can provide. Thanks for your help.

2011 is going to be another incredible growth year for Ambit Energy. In addition to being named the fastest growing private company in the U.S., we've added two new states to our territory: Maryland and Pennsylvania.

If you're interested in making some extra money, working from home or starting a 2nd job let me know. We have business presentations every week all over the state of Texas and in the other states we service (Illinois, New York, Maryland and Pennsylvania). They are short 30-45 minute meetings that provide insight into the business and how you make money. Or, you can view the presentation online via my website at www.brianharris.energy526.com.

This is NOT a gimmacky get-rich-quick kind of deal. But, its an excellent opportunity to make money in a business that provides a commodity that everyones uses - electricity and gas!

Thanks,
Brian
