A friend of mine sent me this picture from her home in Washington. This poor turkey was shot arrow and it wasn't a fatal shot. She says she see's the turkey almost every day. This is one tough old bird.

Hard to believe. Tough bird for sure.

Wildlife can be quite tuff. We had a buck that carried an arrow for 3 months around here last fall. Haven't seen him in a while so not sure what happened to him. Hope he and the turkey make it.
A clear conscience is often the sign of a fuzzy memory.
