Saw a buck today that was already as wide as his ears and putting on some nice tines. Best I have seen this early.
This year hopefully will be the best in a long time for horns. If rain has anything to do with acorns we may have a bumper crop.

The rain will help big time. The acorns will be thick this year as well.

Yep, should be tough hunting...but, the deer that are shot should be HUGE (sorry for yelling).

We've got a couple of BIG mature deer that are out to their ears already and look extremely heavy. It's still too early to tell but things look promising.

I tried my best to get a pic but had to slam on brakes and back up while handing phone to my wife. She tried but he got to far into woods. Blamed it on her for not getting a pic. Hopefully got him on gamecamera. Will look in a day or two.
