Got my suppressor (762-SD) incoming for my 300 Blackout AR. Just thought about threading the barrel on my son's Browning X-Bolt 7mm-08 and putting a 51T flashhider on it so he can use it as well. Is this possible and who could do it?

What, in your mind, would cause it to NOT be possible?

As long as there's enough meat on the barrel it should be gtg.

Assuming it is a factory sporter, you will have to have it cut down, probably to 18" or so for it to be thick enough to thread. I'll be facing the same with a Tikka 7MM-08 shortly.

Or leave is as long as you want and cut it 1/2 x 28. As long as you can adapt your suppressor to fit that thread. Same thread that is on AR-15.

I had my 7mm mag which is a Weatherby threaded 1/2x28 it wasn't cut down at all just threaded and recrowned. There's a guy in here named morgan that did mine he's in rowlett but ships and receives. He has a thread going in the classifieds on here.

YHM makes a 9/16"X24 QD adapter that I used on my Tikka.

Good deal. I believe it's a 20 or 22 inch barrel. If I can fit the 223/556 AAC Blackout Flashhider then I'm good.

AAC has a 51T 1/2x28 blackout flash hider for 762 caliber. Midway USA has them in stock. Its in the AK muzzle device section.
