Me and 3 of my friends will be headed to Pintail Farms this weekend. Will be hunting with digital night vision, thermal monocular. Suppressors and Xtream predator lights. Wish us luck. Vids and pics to follow.

Make sure you and your buddies take waders! It's will be fun but water will be everywhere

I have waders and a 4x4 ATV. Thinking we may need a boat or raft as one member is in a wheelchair.

steve, we have water EVERYWHERE right now.

all my blinds and feeders are flooded with at least 6-8" standing water all around, call me.

Looks like I will have to put this on hold for a few weeks or until things dry up.

Not best conditions for hunting out of a wheelchair... Tip my hat to that person...

I've taken him on several hunts and he does very well for himself. he does not like to be treated special.

This is the first hunt I took him on and his first kill. His son was also along. Was the first time hunting for both and they both were successful. Son shot the yearling and a hog that we did not recover. Dad shot the hog. They both were hooked on hunting from that experience.




Fills you heart to help someone have a farther son bonding like this over hunting.

Several years ago I let a couple of wheeled hunters hunt hogs on our place. Both guys were tough as nails and didn't want any help doing much of anything. Made some memories of a lifetime that weekend and kind of put things back in perspective for me.

I would rather see y'all come out and be able to hunt a good hunt, hard to do when there is nowhere for the critters to look for food.

it'll be a goodun when you do get to come out. lookin forward to it.

OK... This is it. We are lined up to head out to Pintail Farms on Friday. I made my list and checked it twice.

Had a great time. Just did not see many hogs. Got one and had a great time being out there. Allen made some great food and did his best to put us on the hogs. Still way to wet out there and we got stuck several times. But that just added to the adventure. I think I slept all of 6 hours over 3 days.
