Got a buddy looking at one asking me my opinion and I don't know anything about it. Any pros or cons?

Great optics, tough as nails.
Bad-limited reticle selection

Dang good buy at the price point.

Great glass. Too big an objective, not ffp, moa only. I've used one and the glass is good but none of the features I need on a long range scope. Bushnell Elite tacticals are on clearance at Natchez right now. Much better value in my opinion.

I think the SHV line of scopes are great. They took the best features on the larger NXS scopes and scaled them down to hunting size scopes. They have caps that go over the turrets. The SHV scopes makes a great hunting scope with the high end features of the NF scopes. I like them a lot.

One of these days scope companies will figure out that hunters want mil adjustment options. Hopefully sooner than later.

Not every hunter is an moa guy.

I mounted one on a creedmoor and its rock solid. Good glass tracks true. I like it.
