Here is what I started last July. Cut all the main pieces and had neighbor cut my stems and ribs, but never got around to assembling.

The stems I think are to big, so I went a head and ordered the emailed version of the plans. I'll get the stems and ribs recutt if needed, and will then assemble.

If it works out, it will look like this

Haha, me too. Sometimes I pretend if I spent as much time and energy on making a living as I do messing around with hobbies I'd be all set for retirement smile

Hopedale I have never started building a boat. I have wanted to but I already know where that leads: building more boats. I'm all full up on hobby time, a boat build sure is tempting though.

I cut the bottom and the sides. The scarf cut, which let's you join two 8' section together, just never came out right.

When I made the first attempt, I used 5/8th inch thick plywood. The plans I bought called for 1/4".

To do this I only need to go get the plywood and make the side and bottom cuts. I got my neighbor to help with the ribs, so those are ready. I also have the fiberglass and risen to waterproof it.

Amazing all the projects you think about taking on when its raining and you can't get outside to do anything.
