This is my Gamemaster model of hunting knife. I do two styles of hunters, this is the heavier duty of the two. The two "Pulls" on the bottom of the handle for your fingers gives it the ability to be used heavier.
This one has a 4 3/4 inch blade. The handle is sheep horn and I did some deep relief engraving on the stainless guard. Hope you like it. It is headed to the Bladeshow.

That damascus is insane. And I really like rams horn on just about any knife. Beautiful piece of craftsmanship sir.

Very nice Jerry. Looking at this pattern really reminds me of the influence you've had on the Brazilians.

Thanks guys.
David, you need to get a couple of the guys in the area and come up to the Uncle Al meeting we have once a month.
There are always 2-5 mastersmiths there each month along with Journeyman and just regular knifemakers. Eat, show and tell and some type of talk of demo each month. We have from anywhere to 12-60 there each time, we never know who or how many.

Last week we had a demo on wood and leather burning for those interested. A very artistic lady did it.

We just finished up a cutting demo. One of our makers said he could only chop about 2 pine 2x4's before his knife lost its shaving edge. We took him in hand with everyone else and taught them how to do it right. He did just what we told him to do so each month he would chop a few pine 2x4's then we would test the shaving edge and lock it in the cabinet until the next month. His knife lost its shaving edge at 36 pine 2x4's and that should be about right.

Dequeen is where it is at, the second Thursday of each month. Just go straight up from New Boston.
Any of you guys can make it let me know. I will make July for sure.
Next month will be a review of the bladeshow and shows in general, I will be missing next month. I know some of you are planning on the show in Texas and I sure wish you the best.
