During thunderstorms. Mouth and feet all bloodied chewing and clawing tru chainlink, bedroom doors whatever when we are off at work.

Vet medication won't work since the weather is so unpredictable.

Any ideas

Try a thundershirt. It just might work. Otherwise I would just medicate if there is over a 50% of rain.

I feel your pain. They can kill themselves. I've also heard that the thundershirt works.

Cracker swam around and ran off for awhile today.

Advice from me would be like advice from Custer on fighting Indians.

I have one that I use a thunder shirt on, and it helps some.
Not a total fix. If we expect rain I put it on her early, and spray some lavender near her crate. When the storms start I lay a blanket over her crate. Doing all three seems to cut her stress in half, but have not found a total fix.

I've tried the DAP collars in the past, and they did give slight relief. I just use lavender if I've forgotten to order the dap collar.

Shopping with your husband is like hunting with the game warden.
Experience is what you get, when you didn't get what you wanted.
