I recently threw down a 450 dollar bid on a TC pro hunter stainless 14 in with a burris pistol scope and it sold for 900 dollars. I thought 450 for an auction TC would be a strong bid, wrong. I hate those things, being the TCs overpriced reputation. Theyre only single shot break overs! I wished New England would build some and hurt the TC sales. I bought a rem 700 .223 26 in bull barrel rifle with a leupold 3x9x40 with bipod and sendero stock for 600 on auction, so what the heck? Same reason I don't bid on Toyotas, shocked ridiculous!

Look at encore classifieds. They're not all that expensive. If you compare they're performance to that of a Ruger revolver, they look much better.

I'm not sure how you figured $450 was a fair price for the gun with a Burris scope on it? You would sell that gun for $450 with a scope on it? It's a very poor comparison to compare a contender or an encore to a break open single shot learner shotgun.

Got one. Turned over 155K today.

Had two pistol frames and a few barrels several years ago. Custom pistol grips, polished/plated trigger groups set at 12oz. Used to shoot pistol silhouette matches. Sold them to my shooting partner when I decided I liked shooting animals of flesh and blood more than steel.

Still regret selling them.

My 15" encore in 7-08 would shoot 3/4" at 100 yards. That's a pretty handy, lightweight deer killer.
