It rained most of the day and too muddy after the rain, so I got the camera out and sat on the back porch.

1. A female brown cowbird I think.
2. This girl has laid near the back of the yard all day and looks like she is about to pop. Maybe a fawn by morning.
3. This golden front woodpecker won't leave the hummingbird feeder alone. He drinks more than the hummers.

We never had many of the cow birds around before but this year there are quite a few. I have heard that they will lay their eggs in the nest of another bird, but I haven't seen them near a nest around here.
