Bought a good running 02 z71 this week. Truck has been soft rolled so were chopping cab and doors. Going to try for a custom build and a T top like a boat. If any one has a any pics or ideas I would appreciate the input. Thanks

Ya' might want to find out whether or not the roof and doors are integral to the structural integrity of the truck before you start chopping stuff off. I really have no idea, just a thought.

Were good on taking the doors and cab off. Look at performance top drive website. They chop a lot of vehicles. And I am also adding a T Top that will be heavy duty that will attach to the windshield support that I don't chop off. I'm poor boying this rig. But I'm a certified 6G welder and so is my full time guide. He's a better fitter than I am but were gonna make it super cool.

He's right. Y'all should probably weld the doors and use the Dukes of Hazzard style of entry/exit. You know, for safety. Seriously though, those are the models that had the seatbelts integrated in the seat itself, yes? You should be alright. Of course, given the hijinks this thing is liable to see ( ) they won't provide a lot of safety in case it winds up on what used to be it's lid. Better than a milk crate and a ratchet strap, but still, be cautious.
