So I picked up 2 boxes of Hornady Match bthp in 162 gr. #28405. Their web site reports the BC as .610. The problem is my 7th edition Hornady manual does not report on this exact bullet. My book is listing max loads for 162 gr bullets at: IMR 4350= 57.6 gr RL22= 62.9 gr RL25= 69.3 gr I was wondering if anyone has the 9th edition Hornady manual and can give me a clue if these numbers are still reported as max loads.

Try Retumbo if you can get it. A compressed load with a 168 gr or 180 gr. is a beutiful thing.

Thanks for the info. I just happen to have a pound of Retumbo and some 175 Spitzers also some 168 hpbt. I need to get busy and fill some cases. Just incase I ever get to go to the range again.
