I will be building a couple of elevated hunting blinds. I've never hunted with a bow, but may someday, or someone may come with a bow and use the blind. Is there anything I need to consider when building a hunting blind to allow for a bow? Window size or height?

Window height is more important than the width. Think about the angle of the target for the much shorter distance and for being elevated when considering the height of the window sill.

Sound is another factor to consider when building the blind. The animals will be much closer, so much less room for error.

Window placement is another item to look at. You don't want to be silhouetted from behind when you make the draw.

Angle your bottom window sill at a 45, it helps a ton

Look at the Redneck blind design. Great design. Ridiculous pricing.
