Other than nightvision/ thermal what has been used with/without success for shooting hogs and coons. I would rather have a light attach to my scope than to the feeder.

ND3 sub zero on the AR and a Hog Kill light on the feeder. Both work great.

I'm a huge fan of the feeder lights by extreme wildlife and a small scope light. You can see the critters under the feeder with the feeder light then turn on the scope light for light through the scope, it's as good as daylight. I've knocked down lots of big lonely boars this way.

I have been thinking of mounting the green flashlight on my blind window instead of the scope.

I have had good luck with the landscape lights from Lowes.

I have 3 feeders set up with these, all three have been going for a year now. I just strapped them to a T-post about 15 feet from the blind and point them down pretty low at the ground. They go for a good 3-4 hours after dark this time of year, that is as long as I will stay. They may burn longer but I am not around to see. Color doesn't seem to matter, once they are accustomed to a light they don't seem to care. I had put green plastic in them originally but the plastic piece fell out and I didn't know it, the pigs still came. They come up under my security light at the ranch all of the time too.
We have not had good luck with a gun mounted light or a spot light yet (just our experience). As soon as we turn them on the hogs split before we can get off a shot, even with red or green spots. Although I know some people that hunt that way successfully.

I have the same thing as SS has, a cheap solar powered light that comes on when the sun goes down, lasts about 8 hours. Spent $9 on it. It shines enough that you can see raccoons under the feeder from 100yds, but not quite enough to get a good sight through the scope.

I also use the Elusive Wildlife 250, had it for about 3 years now. It's freaking bright. However, I can't tell the difference between a raccoon or bobcat at night from about 100yds and out. My only complaint is that it needs a mount that's adjustable, it always seems to be above or below my target when my cross hairs are on the target. No fault of the light though, it's great

I found a cheap light mount at academy a while back and attached it to the bottom of my barrel. I tried it on top of my scope at first, but it would reflect the light off of my front sight so I moved it to the bottom of the barrel. I very rarely hunt at night, so it was a cheap and simple solution.

I have a green sniper light and my dad has a green kill light 2 on his AR.

Wicked Lights W402ZF. With a good scope you can see a full pig at 300 yards. Picks up eyes out to 600yards easy.

I agree with simple searcher once they become accustomed to the lights they come in all the time. the landscape light idea sounds pretty good I have been using motion lights from Harbor freight and from Northern tool about 25.00 a set. Been operating for almost 2 years and hogs come in every night,
