Well I've had the opportunity to participate in one of more rare and cool sport fishing seasons that exist in my opinion. Last week me and my buddy took off for a four day camping/fishing trip on the Yellowstone river by the Montana/ North Dakota state line. The goal was to land a paddlefish! The adventure was a success to say the least. This has been one of the coolest things I've ever done. I know I will be returning every year now to try and snag another hard fighting spoonbill!

Don't we have some of those in the Red River here in God's Country?

Nice fish, and VERY tasty! No bones, either.

Yes we do! I've caught some on the Red River, Oklahoma side. They are illegal in Texas though. However, I saw a kid on Texoma snag one while bass fishing a couple years ago. He let it go.

Mmmm Hmmm

Yes but to my knowledge the only places with a sustainable population and legal fishing seasons for them are ND,MT and OK
