Went to our place this weekend and found an un announced visitor in the metal building in the morning.

He was hanging out around some poison we put out for bugs and rodents so we relocated him to a good lookin spot next to some red ants near our pole barn. Only the 5th one we have ever seen I showed it to my little boy and said look now you may never see another one.

I miss those guys. Cool that at least south and west Texas still has them.

Growing up in the country in the 50's we had what seems like tons of them. Haven't seen one in 30 years in my parts now. Wish I had all them back I shot with my Daisy BB gun. frown

We are lucky enough to see them pretty regular around San Angelo. I tend to relocate them to less populated and more brushy country when I find them around roads etc. They are Texas.

One of the coolest Texas animals. See them every time it's warm out at our place in Knox County. Also see almost as many rattlesnakes. Remember, when the lizards are out, the snakes are too.

Good job on the relocation. They are definitely worth taking care of.
