I had one under the hood of my mower at the lease this weekend, couldn't get him to come out from under the engine. Didn't get any mowing done, had to drink beer instead.

I miss seeing those little guys...as a kid in Odessa we had them in the back yard and in the alley behind the house on Dakota off 42nd street ....never killed one...always laid them on their back and tickled their bellies til they went to sleep.....good times.....

I remember as a kid growing up in Devine, we had them everywhere. I use to carry one around and find a big red ant mount and turn him loose. Nothing better than watching one get a full belly on red ants.

I don't like picking up anything that can make itself bleed out its eyes lol. I see hundreds every summer here, when I used to golf ppl woul put them in the cups at the local golf course for the next guy to surprisingly find. We have red ants everywhere and very few fire ants, may be the difference.
