I love Hodgman waders. Unfortunately they no longer make hunting waders according to the email they sent me. There are still some to be had, you can find them online but styles and sizes are becoming limited.

Cabelas makes good waders but I am in between boot sizes and they no longer have a lifetime warranty. I wish Cabelas kept a decent selection in the store (versus catalog). Shipping stuff back and forth just to try them on does not work very well.

Haha....is there a story that goes with this like you caught a guy name Cabelas having an affair with your wife?

As far as cost vs quality goes I for sure think it's hard to get a great pair of waders cheap but at the same time there is no need to drop the coin you could on Drake when there are some other brands that are just as good. In the ed you are lucky to get 2 or 3 seasons out of waders and if you really take care of them, store them properly and play the patch game with them you might get them to last a lot longer but in the end they become muddy field hunting pants.
