So I figure it is time to get to work on my lease. It has been so wet there was no way to get any equipmen tin there and right now it does nothing but hold water, so itis chock full. I'm trying to get it pumped out in the next two weeks so I can put in water control valves over the summer.

What all should I be doing or have I already missed the spring window?

I wouldn't pump it out if you have no way to pump it in

Half of the property will still hold water year round, I am just pumping a small area that we built berms last year to flood the field edges with a few inches of water. I don't want them to stay full all summer and kill all the vegetation.

I guess I could techically pump the water back uphill from the holding poind, but the last two years we got enough rainfall that I didn't need to do that.
