They have them in black of course, and FDE, which I really like.... but when I saw it in OD Green, I just had to get it to accessorize my Jeep smile

Has a nice feel and balance. It does look like a cross between nerf gun/ray gun/water blaster lol.. Never have been much of a bull pup fan, but the more I read up on the Tavor, the more intrigued I was. Taking it to the lease this weekend to try out.. Cool thing is, it is a shorter OAL length than my "SBR" will likely be (when I finally get the stamp back bang)

I took a MTAC with PEPR mount off another rifle to put on it. Only prob, it has a pretty high HOB of 4". Running my ballistics calculator, I'm thinking a 100 yard zero will give me a good range of 2.6 in low at 25 all the way out to just under 2 in low at at 225 yards using M855

Red? Everybody knows red jeeps are for girls roflmao

Kidding aside, yea, I will try to remember to take some pix and/or video

Quit showing things like this, gonna make my wife get a second job so I can afford it! That looks like the way to go for close quarter.

As promised.. a mini range report...

First of all, this thing is a pleasure to shoot! very minimal recoil or muzzle rise. Also, it seems to be quieter than my 16" AR. Fit and finish are excellent. It is pretty heavy but most of the weight is in the rear, so balances well. Even so, standing and trying to make unsupported shots at 10, 25 and 30 yrds, I really couldnt hold it steady enough for a precision type of shot. I guess I've gotten spoiled with my shooting sticks... or, I am just old and weak lmao...

I love the compactness of the rifle. Actually, it is so compact, it didnt fit in my current gun rack set up on my ATV. But, it worked fine in a 2 pt sling, cinched up tight across my chest as I was riding around.

I do wish the bottom of the pistol grip had a compartment that you could store some extra batteries, allen wrench etc... Also, the pistol grip is pretty smooth and slick.. I could see it getting pretty slippery with sweaty hands. I'll have to figure out how to rig up a rubber covering, grip tape or something for the grip, or use some gloves.

Something about the stock, maybe thickness or geometry, made it hard to get a good cheek weld/view through scope with electronic ear pro on, but it was doable.

I took my Burris MTAC off another rifle and a PEPR mount. The Tavor's top rail is a little higher in relationship to the barrel compared to a standard AR so, it gave me a pretty high sight height of 4". I had planned on using a 100 yrd zero as that would give me the most useful MPBR for my sitution/planned use. However, the center dot on the MTAC is so large, at 100 yrds and covered up so much of the bulls eye, I was having trouble getting a tight enough group to have confidence that I was zeroed or not. So, I ended up zeroing at 75 yrs. Finally, after feeling confident that I was at a good zero, I made a big ol' cross out of duck tape and tried once more. The sight picture was much easier to see if I was centered on the target. So much so, I think next time I go out, I will use the "duck tape target" and re-zero it at 100 yrds as planned. Which is fine, because this thing is so much fun to shoot, I've already burned through more of my reserve M855 ammo than I had planned on lol..

Me shooting at my rickety old shooting bench..

Best group I was able to get at 75 yrds before hitting upon the duck tape idea...

After my duck tape solution

My ugly mug

All in all, the Tavor is definitely an ugly son of a gun, but I love the way it shoots, and love the compactness of it. Highly recommended!

Yep its ugly! LOL! But hey......all that matters is if it gets the job done and it looks like it will.

I ordered a drop in Geissle trigger at the same time as the rifle, so unable to comment on the stock trigger. The Geissle felt just fine to me. Not a precision shooting trigger of course, but a very good combat/hunting type. Easy as heck to replace as well. Buy with confidence! lol

Excellent vehicle weapon for short and mid range engagement. Would work great for pigs off the electric cart. Put a suppressor on it and engage. I however don't see a future where I have the cash to drop on one of them . . .
