Bet we seen 10-15 Baby Hawks on the Ranch Roads this last weekend, Buzzards were in full force

cheers Built me a fire ant trap, roast-em & dip-em in melted choclate.. Recomend take, as pappy would say: ant-acid before consumption.. rofl them critters got mounds all over the yard & pasture... offtopic Do moles eat fire ant's ? Haha yeah thats one of the most expensive hunts in Texas. If I were rich and had good lawyers that would be an awesome off season hobby.

I'd rather see one or two more hawks than the buzzards. I'm not too worried about the quail. There isn't many here anyway and what few are here, Caracara's tend to get them and they usually are at the same spots as the buzzards. You can't do anything legal to either one without a permit for the buzzards.

Was shredding with the tractor on Thursday and when I got on the tank dam I saw two Canadian geese walking away from the tractor as I got closer. Thought "they'll fly in a second". Nope, kept walking, then I saw the two fuzzy babies following the two adults. Guess my place is gonna be home for them for a while.
