Tried this one tonight and loved it.

Brined a 2 1/2lb roast for about 4 hours in salt, pepper and crushed red pepper.

Lay down a bed of 1 medium sliced onion in the bottom of a crock pot.
Put the roast on top of the onions and coat with salt and pepper.
Combine a can of condensed cream of mushroom soup, a serving of dry onion soup mix, one finely diced garlic clove, a dash of worcestershire, a dash of soy and a little crushed red pepper. Pour it over the roast and set it to low for 6 hours.

At about hour 5 I added about a pound of baby Bella mushrooms.

Darn good flavor! up

Done something similar and it comes out really well.

Side note, all crock pots are different, 5 hours on low in mind and it will probably just be warm and not cooked yet.
