Looks like all the scope manufacturers are forcing their dealers to all sell for the same price (MAP)

Where are the deals at? I'm looking at a 30mm tube, 1-6 or 1-7 around $1000

Leupold has done this for more years than I've been foolin' with guns...part of their dealer contract. Shop ALL the online outfits starting with Cameraland & Natchez, even Cabellas and see what you come up with.
At Cameraland I talk to Neil and pick his brain to meet certain specific paradigns & price points for the best overall item, and he's never steered me wrong. Doug is great on an item you've asked about with pricing and availabilty but really too busy to get into the weeds in doing comparisons.

I know what you mean about the $$$. A few days ago someone was trying to sell me a new S&B 1-8x. As they're about $3500, he obviously had me confused with someone with money to burn. Not that I didn't want it ...
