Looking for open land that we can go to, not for hunting.

Would just like to take brother and cousin out with our 19' trailer and spend a weekend shooting targets (we will clean up after ourselves) and just hanging out.

I hate indoor gun ranges and feel an outdoor venue would be nicer.

Buy or lease?

You might look at buying a really small tract (2 or so acres) that is isolated. Tax resales would be a place to look.
