Hey bud that's a good ole common hill country Corsican cross. I have tons of them. But I will say he looks great for a young guy... Also they slick off starting now. So he looks different than he will in the winter. He's a good looking ram though. Talk to you soon!

Looks like red sheep to me as well. These just stumbled onto your ranch? Lucky guy.
If you died tomorrow, what would you have done today...

I was thinking he had some Urial in him which i believe red sheep do, but figured it was to good to be true. Hopefully he will stick around for a while longer until hes a shooter.

The kind you let grow up... then if he turns your crank I wonder if he's the one producing the babies or is big daddy around.

I agree red sheep. Not the horn curl of other sheep, which is why some said aoudad. Ewe have the fawn color you are seeing.
Question: it looks like you have a pen around the feeder. Did they jump in or is it open. My pens (34" hog panel) kept the sheep off the feeders.

We only had a few. I know even the baby aoudad will jump in. I was always surprised that the mix of sheep we used to have (before they were mostly trapped off the place) would never jump in. But I had a bunch of unpenned feeders too, so maybe they just weren't motivated enough.

Red Sheep are a fairly high priced exotic, if they stick around, the OP might get himself a nice bonus. On the flip side are the extra feed costs.
for every stereotype there's a prototype don't be the prototype

They look like pure Red Sheep. Somebody has a hole in their fence.
