Been saving my milk money and mentioned to Bill I was thinking about buying an AR. Haven't had one for a couple of years. Came across this yesterday and bought it. Spike's. Chris Kyle. Legend. AR-15's are my weakest area(as far as knowledge) in the firearm platform, so really hoping I made a decent choice. Range time comes next Saturday, and yes I'm excited.

Thanks fella's. It's desert sand in color. Bull, I purchased this from an FFL in McKinney, Searched online and couldn't find any other's either.
Also meant to ask. If anyone has a recommendation for optic's, please chime in. Hog's and varmint's. 100 yards max for now. Maybe at some point, I'll enroll in one of FiremanJG's rifle class, but after a day with me, as one of his student's, he might quit teaching.

Nice looking AR Janie. I not good on AR optic's just put the best you can on it. Its to nice not to. Enjoy your range time.

Janie, the first hog I killed was on the run. I was shooting off hand, standing up, looking through a 3x mag eotech. Poor pig never had a chance. It was no problem seeing him, tracking him, and hitting him. It was dark at the time too. I did have a nice light on that AR though...

Nice piece, check out the aimpoint PRO for the optic That might be my suggestion as well. It's reasonably priced and it just works. A 1-4 scope might also be an option.
