I hope they make it, unfortunately with the lack of ML control/season in CA they have a huge disadvantage

Agreed!

California even passed a law saying that; if a mountain lion has been deemed a threat for doing such things as stalking people, killing pets or attacking people. State game officials must first try to relocating or scare the cougar off before - as a last result killing the cat.
