What is fair price per gun for quail lease after deer season in the panhandle?

God is deep but he is not complicated.

A fair price for a really good lease would be $2,000.

In this day and time, that is a darn good price. Everything I have investigated has been twice that, even for the after deer season offers.

There is time, and you must take it, to lay your hand on your dog's head as you walk past him lying on the floor or on his settle, time to talk with him, to remember with him, time to please him, time you can't buy back once he's gone" GBE

Tigger had one on the Lease forum for $3,800 which opened on 12/10. It as guest privileges, which meant that two could join together of they hunted together.

I'm paying the full ride on his lease since no one I know quail hunts. I'll take my grandsons.

God.. I remember hunting as a kid for 60 bucks a year on 9 sections of land... oh the good ol days.. heh

Now, living in Austin.. don't think there is a place within hours that does anything less than like 500-600 for half a day.

Hunting is easy..it's getting permission from your wife that is tough.

Thats dirt cheap for a decent STX quail lease. I have friends/ clients paying over 100k for dog country. It all depends on where you look and who you know. I fear the days of a working mans affordable hunting lease are numbered in South Texas.
