Instead of big red I've used strawberry jello or beer mixed with corn. I also add water, cover with lid and let it sit for a week or two. Don't spill it on yourself or clothes.

I agree with all of these. Sour mash seems to bring them in the best. Regular corn also works.

Y'all are forgetting the magic dust, LOL.
Did this back in 2013. I have tested a lot of the magical attractants. Hogs may eat them, but they don't seem any better than just plain corn. People seem to think that their hog attractants are going to "bring in hogs" when they would not otherwise have them and that just hasn't been shown to be the case.

HOG JUICE
Fill a 5 gallon plastic bucket 2/3 full of corn Add a box of cheap strawberry jello Add a tall boy of cheap beer Add a package of dried yeast Stir in the ingredients as you fill the bucket with water. Cap it off with a tight lid and let it ferment.
The beer kicks start the fermentation with the yeast. It would work without the beer but the beer speeds up the process. Helps to stir the concoction occasionally.
Pretty soon you will have five gallons of nasty ^^^^ that pigs think is heaven. Don't get greedy and use up the entire bucket. Take some and leave some for a "starter" for the next batch. All you have to do is add more corn and water and you can keep the "juice" going forever.
A word to the wise. When you are transporting juice to the site, make sure you have a sturdy container with a tight lid. A spill will give your hunting wagon a distinctive smell.

That being said, if they aren't there, they probably will be someday...sooner than later at the rate the weather is going in CenTex.

... The key ingrediant is location, location, location if no hogs around, don't make difference what ya put out... So true. While some THF member can trap 32 hogs in 3 nights, others may not have a chance to shoot that many in a life time. If you have to bait them - I did too, chances are you don't have that many around. That's not a bad thing for others, but if your goal is to find them to shoot, you just need to keep on working on it. Trail camera is helpful for confirmation. If there are hogs, you will get them sooner or later, just don't expect 32 in 3 nights.

Agreed that plain old corn works just fine. BUT, if you are setting up in a newer location (whether it be a trap or hunting spot), the 'stink corn' will definitely increase your odds of the pigs finding it faster.

Step 1, dump 1/2 bag of corn in trap.
Step 2, pour can of beer over corn
Step 3, set trap

FRUSTERATED HUNTER!! put out another 2 or 3 game cams and see my very first spot I baited I had 2 cams out, pointing different directions the first 2 months they'll walk around it but would not come in; one cam didn't capture anything, the second cam caught all the actions where they circle, also at a spot where one would overlook at pointing a game cam my conclusion, some hogs are smarter and will take their time before rushing in to a bait station. I suspect that 's what you've got or they may have moved on to another property
