I just got back form dinner. I let Muffin and Cracker out to tinkle. Tinkle is the word for them. They like to find a really good spot. What is the command for your pups?

There is time, and you must take it, to lay your hand on your dog's head as you walk past him lying on the floor or on his settle, time to talk with him, to remember with him, time to please him, time you can't buy back once he's gone" GBE

I let Bo outside. He knows outside and also knows to go stare at the door when he needs to go. If it's raining outside or I need to leave and cat leave him out, I say "go potty" and he gets it.
I just turned it on . I was looking bird dogs in the butt this morning.

none, I just let them do their thing. It takes mine longer to find a really good spot if I do that.

Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

"Go potty". We get what we call the "poo poo stare". She stands there in front of you and looks directly at you until you take her out.

It's like getting your young ones ready to go to bed... and I don't mean the dogs.

I just let her out and she does her thing. I say "come" and "inside" when I let her back in the house. my wife says "go potty".
I've noticed lately she has been a little defiant in her old age. She sure has been lollygagging lately. She is nine and I have not really done a lot of hard training with her in a while. She knows what's up and does a fine job out in the field. She just gives me that look when I tell her to come and then takes her sweet time getting there. If I take one step toward her she picks up the pace. She's like a stubborn old woman.

I don"t say a word. voiding is automatic with all the E. pointers. Every time out of the kennel or box...all but the shorthair(which I believe to be the most intelligent of my pointers). Except that he gets out of the kennel every day along with the cockers, because he will get right back in as soon as I say "kennel up". (Try that with E. pointers without an e-collar on, and they will just thumb their nose at you). But he waits until he is back in the kennel to dump!

I've had several that would do that after coming back from the trainer, but they soon got over it. My dogs have always hand back yard time.
