Any recommendations to train a vizsla? Prefer in
San Antonio or Corpus Christi area.

Thanks...

David Jones at Strong Dog kennels. He's south of Victoria.

Drake Kennels up in Spring. I do the snake clinics up there at their place. Nice clean facilities, good honest hard working people.

This man knows everything about vizslas and the only man I would trust with this breed of dog. I'm currently on his waiting list to get a pup. Tell him Beau Brundrett sent you.

There is more than just one breeder, or trainer that can work with vizsla.
You would need to give more information on what you are wanting to do with the dog. Are you wanting to use it on multiple game animals, or just run it on quail/pheasants?
Huntmore, and Bravo are just a couple that also breed quality dogs in Texas.
If you have a big running dog, and want to keep it that way, look into the trainers that have summer camps up north. Ken with Willowynd Ranch, Brian Gingrich, and even Durite has started training and trialing vizlsa for other owners.
If your looking closer in Texas, and want someone to evaluated/train the dog look at David with Rio Concho Kennels.
Justin Drake with Drake Sporting dogs is my nephew, and he did the started work with my vizsla Cash, and I had him FF him later.

Shopping with your husband is like hunting with the game warden.
Experience is what you get, when you didn't get what you wanted.

Drive to Dallas and send him to Marks-A-Lot Kennels. Dan does great work.
