I am fortunate enough to have a job that takes me in rural areas quite frequently with a camera. Unfortunately I am not the shutterbug that some of you other guys are.

I saw this Saturday morning in Callahan County and had to stop and take a pic. Somebody's prayer was answered the day before. Whatever they are doing I hope they keep it up. Even some rain doesn't seem to be enough.

There are a lot of those signs all over Abilene, we keep getting teased with rains, but haven't had a real floater in years.

We've had too much in a lot of the eastern portion of the state now. 6 of my son's first 7 little league practices were rained out.

I've been ordering gopher wood for the past week or so. Bayou and river are about to burst.

....and to think there are some folks who don't want to pipe the water back to the folks who need it.

Most of Texas and the southwest has that same prayer. Rains been good to us that last month or so, but bring on more please.
