I have a Harrington Richards .22 short blank gun from past retriever training. .

I also have a 12 week old black Lab named Jessie who is wearing me out., I forgot what having a puppy is like.

where can I get a "cap" gun to start with? I looked at Academy, Walmart, no luck.

when can I switch to a "choke" collar

then a E-collar?

We are starting an obedience class next Saturday but I also want to incorporate gun dog training along with the obedience.

I picked up a toy cap gun at the local HEB and used it at feeding times and around the house before moving on to a starter pistol that fired 22 blanks outdoors and then a shotgun. Check your local grocery stores toy aisle or other places that might cary toys
