Savage 10FCP .308 caliber wth factory Federal GMM 168gr Sierra Match King. Out of a five shot group I had one flier that was totally my fault. Bipod in front...and sandbag, with my left hand, in rear for elevation.

Good shooting. I think we must be related because I always pull the fifth shot as well. I get so pissed when I shoot 4 rounds at 1/2" and shot number 5 sails wide right.

Well done.

Where does the trigger sit on your finger? The very end of the last bone?

I have small hands, so naturally the tip of my finger is what makes contact with the trigger; but I try to make a conscious effort to correct for it by rotating my wrist a little inward so that I can squeeze the trigger strait back. Same story with pistols.
