That's a great opportunity. I love mine. When Leica says it will range to X distance, it will do so. Unlike many others which may range to X distance if it's a highly reflective object only. Animals are not very reflective. 
I learned long ago you can't reason someone out of something they don't reason themselves into.

I have ranged out past 1900 with my 1600B's. Have had lesser units and leica is worth the price.

You have got to be kidding me, lol. I just bought one yesterday from SWFA, at least I got the THF discount so it doesn't sting quite so bad. That is a smoking deal at camofire though.
