So sad. Everyday my three girls, Josie GSP, Bonnie EP and Lillie Lewell ES, are looking at me so longingly for another hunt before the long and so, so hot summer with no scent of feathers. I know we have one last run the 25th and just hoping for a cooler day. And then that long, long break before Fall hunting season.

Oh well hoping everyone has a good fishing season and that the quail thrive

Yep, it has to be miserable for them. They work their fannies off for us in the season, and then dream of doing it the rest of the year.

But then again, just think how many more dogs never get to do it at all.

IMO that is the real sad part.

That sounds like me. Hunt hard during the season, then dream about next year until it rolls back around.
