I just got a drill press a few days ago and I'm ready to try my first folder. I want to make a simple friction folder with a 3/32 1095 blade. I don't know where to start with what pivot to use and don't know if washers are necessary. What is a good pivot for this kind of knife

You can use pin stock or a barrel pivot depending on what you like. 3/32 pin stock is what I would use.

If you need some, I can send you some pin stock and a couple of pivots and screws.
