I have a .270 that had seen better days but since my Dad gave it to me, I didn't want to just get rid of it. Decided to refinish it and here is what I came up with.  Did all the dis-assembly and re-assembly myself. Who wants to take the first shot?

Looks good....what did you use? This is the kit I used. http://www.camodipkit.com/index.htmConceal Green Camo was the pattern. It was a b---h because I don't know all the little tricks but it came out alright with a little touch up work. If you try it yourself, make sure you watch the dvd (mine didn't have the dvd so I am blaming the mistakes on that). Once I get more film, I'll be doing my shotgun next. Barrel is done.

I really like that. It takes a leap of faith to do that on a gun with a beautiful wooden stock, but on a gun that needs to be refinished, I say go for it.

Finished up the shotgun on Saturday.  Pleased with how they both turned out.  Made sure the shotgun still worked on Sunday.

I have used the same kit on a shotgun and rifle. For the money you can't go wrong.
