What search website do you all recommend to use to find a lease? I would love to find something on here but know the supply and demand is not in my favor. Is there a website that you tend to have more success with over others? What the best time of year to search for a lease?

Just keep looking. If you put your time in you can find a good place. I've found good places on craigslist before or a couple of the lease search engines and here periodically. You never know when you'll find a good lease.

Most of the leases you will find are through personal contacts. If you don't have buddies who have a network to hook you up then try a local feed store. This works well when you have an existing lease and have a relationship with the feed store owner because you buy feed from them. Even so, they know when leases become available. One website that I have used in the past is DeerTexas.com. It is all about networking and mining your relationships. Somebody knows somebody!

If you are not a member of TexasBowhunter.com then you need to join. There have been a lot of lease openings posted lately in their classifieds section. Of course, the pricing is more than I would be willing to spend but you might have deeper pockets than this old Ag.

leasehunter.com by far and away the best site - check several times a day and if one comes up then jump on it - I agree that leasehunter.com is the best of the search sites. With that said, don't discount the possibility of finding a lease through this forum. I know it seems impossible to do with the amount of hunters posting "lease wanted" threads, but I just found a new lease on here last month. If I were you, I'd use multiple different ways to search, and most importantly when you find one you like be ready to move fast to secure it. Good luck and stay positive.

Might help if you post here with exactly what you're looking for (details, etc...) Good luck.
