After logging about 22 hours hunting since last Saturday my 10 year old got it done for his first turkeys. He got a 20 ga for his birthday a couple weeks ago and these are his first animals to take ever. We worked hard and missed some opportunities on toms due to wrong setup plus he missed one. But these two saw the dekes and came in full strut acting like kings of the work. He dropped them at 33 yards from a pop up about 8:45 Sunday. One would have been fine but the only shot window put them right together. I said aim right over the decoy and he missed the deke and hit the birds.

I got them added. Thanks. Hopefully the toms will get away from the hens eventually. They will gobble once and if they come in, they are silent. I let my boy be the shooter every hunt.

Great job! Memory for a lifetime. I'm still trying to get my first spring bird, this is my second year but no luck so far.
