Does anyone know of a beretta shotgun dealer that might have a used o/u beretta silver pigeon (sporting prefered) with left hand wood, in their neck of the woods.

Thanks, just called, didn't have what I was looking for used. May be an option if I can't find what I'm looking for used.

You should consider looking at the high volume dealers on Gunbroker, Guns international, and Guns America. When you're looking for a pretty specialized item you need to cast a wide net. Once you find one it's a fairly simple process to get it shipped to a local FFL.

for every stereotype there's a prototype don't be the prototype

Here are two of the larger one's out there.

And another one:

Send them an email or give them a call and let them know what you're looking for. One of those three can probably turn up something fairly soon.

you might also check with Cole Guns in Maine. They offer different stocks and you might be able to find a right hand gun that you can swap out with a left-hand stock.

There are a few places here in Houston I'm sure either carry the one you are looking for or can get it.

Collector's Firearms:

American Shooting Center Pro Shop - they have a very large shotgun range and pro shop. they're a big Beretta dealer in town.

FYI, both places tend to be a bit pricey is generally why I don't buy from either.

Thanks for the help guys. I've been looking at Joel Etchen and gunbroker for some time now. I was just wanting to see if I could find what I was looking for in state before buying "blind" online.

Etchen, Indiana GC, Dawson's, Jaqua's, Cole's as well as American Shooting Center are all great folks to deal with. I've had no dealings w/ Collector's so I have no comments, good or bad, to say about them. They have all been in the business for many years. Good deals are there and the one's up in the mid-west might have more 'trade-ins' coming in since they are predominantly shotgun type states as well as have a very heavy clientele of clays, trap and skeet shooters.
Good luck in your search.
