I just found out that we will be hunting the Priour ranch with Ryan Longer of Longer Outdoors. I just wanted to see if anyone has hunted there and if so, how did ya do? What did ya think? We are gonna be "mainly" targeting axis deer, but one never knows how a hunt is gonna go. Thanks for your input.

I hunted there years ago. The place is thick with animals. You will see tons of them. The trick is not shooting a small one and holding out for a monster

I also have hunted there for Sika and Mouflon. Place used to be absolutely thick with critters haven't been on the place in about 4yrs so can't comment what's there now . Place has long history for good animals. The Sika we took was top 5 SCI at the time. Parts of the ranch are cleared of cedar and are very pretty. Good luck on your hunt. PS ditto on taking your time

Priour is a great place. I have have never taken a axis Hunter there but we have hunted other animals there. Always been happy with our hunt. Good luck!

thank you guys for the input. This was a last minute change in out itinerary, but I am very excited. I love hunting new areas and it sounds like we should see some animals I have never had a chance to see before. Pretty excited
