Boondocks across the road from the old Hard 8 is pretty good food for the money. Catfish and shrimp that I have eaten have all been good.

Mac's BBQ used the be really good but it's under new ownership. I always liked El flamingo for Mexican and they serve a pretty good burger and breakfast. I grew up there but a few things have changed since 2003 when I left. I still have to eat at Mac's BBQ when I'm in town.

I've eaten at Medina's. Pedestrian IMO. There is a little Chinese place that the food was decent but was a little pricey. Service was good though. The McDonald's is prolly as good as anything I've had there but I haven't yet tried the fish place or any of the BBQ joints.

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.

Boondocks is excellent! They have spoiled us and refuse to eat anyone else's catfish because it would just be a let down.

The old Hard 8 is now called The Spread. The new owners are great and continue to serve good food.
Mac's is good.
Steve's Meat Market has great aged beef. Get the rib-eyes cut 1 1/4", I can't even ruin them.
