This pistol was a colonel's firearm which he used to compete with. He was from the AFB in Ft. Worth. The pistol has had some serious work done to it with the customized trigger, slab sided barrel and a muzzle break. It is wickedly accurate. The book says this pistol was made in 1941. My dad always talks of a hammer versioned High Standard pistol he owned and I'd like to trade for one to get one back to him. A HD or HE is what I'm looking for. This pistol resides in Grapevine.
