Well I am not on my deer lease anymore and will be doing weekend hunts this next season. I have never hunted axis before and would like start. Can anyone reccomend any ranches in the hill country or within 3 hours of houston?

There are a lot of good Outfitters on here. Go back through the archives and look at what others have taken and what they thought of the experience and go from there. The good Outfitters are still here and the bad ones have not lasted. Good luck with your hunt.

We have some of the best properties in the state. I have some in Mtn. Home/ Kerrville area with first class lodging and animals. Then I have a more down home atmosphere setting place near college station as well that we do a lot of hunts on. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
