The fields have had standing water for about a month. Since the wheat is 12" high or so, I am going to see how close I can get to a boar. I am betting 25 yards if he has his head down. Any comment, opinions or smart a## language is encouraged.

One of those nights. Not a pig to be found. We checked all the wheat fields, chum piles etc. Nada

Ramsey. Hell it's nice to be out but we all have those nights. Had a guy in from corporate that had never killed a hog. I took him over 700 acres Thursday night without seeing one. Guess that's just how it goes sometimes.

not a big deal I have been out checking fields for 8 hours before I found one before. Farmers are planting the seed corn now ~ Wednesday should be good.
