I am having a hard time deciding on which picture to enter in a dog photo contest and need to get them in the mail asap. I am limited to a 4x6 print, so most have been cropped from my originals and will be viewed slightly smaller than shown. What do you think would be the most likely to be chosen by the person judging. Same as above. This category has no basic theme. It is a category for pictures that did not fit into any of the other category choices of the photo contest. 2&4 for me

Great pics

These I already picked out for other categories. The first one in a Holiday category and the other two in Canines and their Companions category. Both were accidental while setting up the camera for a more posed picture. I normally would not submit a hero picture, But these I think might have a chance because they show some interaction.

They are all great, but I really like that last one

I enjoyed all your pics. You have a rare skill and a enviable problem trying to decide. Taking a poll on here is a good idea. I do the same thing when entering photo competitions and the one I took first place in, I posted ten pics that I liked on FB. My friends commented on the ones they liked the best, but then some went through my album and found one they liked better. I added it to the other ten and that's the one that ended up winning.

In your first group, I like A the best. Great color and amazing detail.

In your second group, I like 1 the best. I enjoy props, but I think in this case they distract from the picture. If he wasn't wearing glasses in 4, I think that would have been my first choice.

I could enter two per category. I went with the voting and mailed off A, F, and 1, 4. Before the voting I was leaning towards E, F, and 1, 2. What bothered me about A was the fact it was not an action shot and the original in 8 x 10 is a much better picture with the limb visible that the birds are hanging on, but it is one of my favorite I have taken. I used the sunset mode on the camera at the time to get the colors the way it came out. The Rainbow Pointing picture is my favorite of all of them. It was taken near Apashapa Wildlife Area in Colorado last September while I was stranded in the middle of nowhere with two flat tires, only one spare, and a setting sun. There were thunderstorms all around me with 5 different rainbows visible at one time. It was a great moment under some big sky. It would be very cool if that photo won it's category. Wishful thinking I know. Competition is always tough in these things.

The bigger picture where I took the rainbow photo. Pictures are in three different directions from the spot my truck was stranded at. You can see Dash flying like the wind in the background across that in the first one. The last one I considered for the contest, but it would not crop to the required 4x6 well.
