Are there rumblings of anything new coming?
Best place to get one?

I have been pleased with mine, as have many in several different threads. I have not heard of anything new. Got mine from TNV. Seemed like it was just under $200?

MKL - That's extremely cheap compared to the $156 I paid for my UNV-20IR. I'm going to order one as a spare but will go through ebay even though it costs $30 more. Thx!

Are ya'll positive it's the same light? I just ordered a UNV last night (didn't see this thread) for $189. Clearly cheaper to return and get one of these, if it's the same.
Thanks, Charlie

Sorry Charlie. http://texashuntingforum.com/forum/ubbth...tin#Post5213668 Here is a IR model of the same light UF-T20 IR on ebay The prices are off as I posted this a year ago but it is all relative. Most the commercial guys will give you a 3 year warranty. But it doesn't cover batteries which cost about $10 a piece if they are legit. Ask about what brand of battery is included. If it has the name "fire" in it avoid them and ask for Panasonic or Sanyo OEM batteries.

HornSlayer,
no need to make the T20 doubling process anymore, if you want same effect, the new UF-1503(T50) single battery is a good choise and now it's comes with a one inch tube. I agree about battery choise, go for the Panasonic or Sanyo.

/MKL Does it use the same pill? How is the adjustment, is it a little tighter than the T20? Nice thing about the doubler is it allows you to use a standard pass filter that just screws into the bezel.

Has anyone gotten one of these cheaper IR lights? If so how was the performance and quality of them. Looking to buy one but don't want to waste my money if they aren't worth it. Thanks for any input.

I'm still waiting on mine to arrive. It's on a very slow boat from China. Once it arrives, I'll compare it to my UNV20IR. I have a spot that's 575 yards that my UNV20IR lights up well enough to see a pig. Rabbit and raccoon's would be to small to distinguish to my old eyes.

Thanks Drifter. I'm gonna hold off buying one for now. I'll wait and see what you think about it and if anyone else has anything good or bad to say about them.
